JESUS ROBLEDO vs. JIT TRANSPORTATION, BARRETT BUSINESS SERVICES

The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) granted reconsideration of an award finding applicant sustained a traumatic brain injury arising out of and in the course of employment. Subsequently, the parties informed the WCAB of their intent to settle the case via Compromise & Release. Therefore, the WCAB rescinded the prior award and returned the case to the trial judge to consider the settlement's adequacy. If the settlement is not approved, the original award will be reinstated for further proceedings.
