BRENDA LOUPE vs. STATE OF CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND REHABILITATION, AVENAL STATE PRISON, STATE COMPENSATION INSURANCE FUND
The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB) rescinded its prior decision in *Loupe v. State of California, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation* due to a proposed settlement reached by the parties while the case was on reconsideration. The matter is returned to the trial level for the Workers' Compensation Administrative Law Judge (WCJ) to review the settlement. If the settlement is not approved, the WCJ may reinstate the original decision, and aggrieved parties can seek reconsideration. This decision is not a final determination on the merits.
